Emiliano Solazzi Griminger (Moti Griminger) was born in December of 1974 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of 11 his family and him immigrated to Beer Sheva, Israel, where he lived most of his life. At the age of 15 he started to take guitar lessons and by the age of 18 he was already leading a very succesful Israeli death metal band called CEREBRAL COMA, which had a mayor success in the international and national underground scene. In 1992, Emiliano hooked up with Ziv Matushka, another pioneer in the Israeli electronic music scene and, together, they started to experiment with more Industrial music and eventually writing Goa and Psy trance. Ziv joined P.Cok, and Emiliano continued his project as ENERTOPIA. The first single by Enertopia was released in 1996 by B.N.E Israel in a compilation called DESTINATION ISRAEL, and after a few months he was signed by KREMBO records. The first full length album was called MAGIC FOR ETERNITY, released in 1997, followed by the second album called FACE ADAPTOR which was cowritten with Yuli Fershtat AKA B.L.T, Perfect Stranger. In between 1996 and 1998 Enertopia have released two full albums and numerous singles. Now Enertopia is back with new material in the studio for his next album DIVINE under ORB records, already collaborating with talented artists around the globe such as A.P.E from Israel, OVERDREAM from Ukraine, LOKI from Amsterdam, Aural Invasion from Denmark. and more surprises to come.

Hi, my name is Erick (and have been posting on a # of philly tribes trying to feel this city out) and I live in minneapolis but am moving to the philly area in mid january. I was wondering about the electronic dance scene. Here in minneapolis "Raves" are making a great underground come back and I was wondering what the deal was with you all. I love dirty electro, techno, acid house, electro house, psi-trance but will settle for DnB, Trance (NOT EPIC,NEVER EPIC), and house. so whats up is it all clubs or still dirty basements? Also I have read about playa del fuego, and was wondering what the burner community is like. I am a 3 year veteran of that dusty playa I call home and wanted to get involved in the scene there. At any rate all help is good help. I am comming into this whole PA thing blind with a deaf co-pilot so yea.Love to my future freinds.

I just got back from an awesome party that some of you may enjoy next time around. If you've heard of Burning Man, this is a tiny (400-500 people) version of that which is held 2x a year in Townsend Delaware(1 hr from Phila). Its basically a weekend of camping/tailgating with people who party all morning, day, night long. It's highlighted each day with a huge bonfire. Everyone there does whatever they can to entertain each other. Nobody says a negative word or sells anything the whole weekend long. Its held every Memorial day and Columbus Day weekend...but it's not to soon to check out the Playa Del Fuego tribe or playadelfuego.org.

Invite to my Sketch Comedy Show

I posted a listing for it, but I wanted to invite people to come see my sketch comedy troupe, The Waitstaff, this Friday at The Five Spot. It's a different kind of night out from what most people may be used to.

For those of you unfamilair with Sketch Comedy, it's not Improv. Everything's scripted and rehearsed. It's like Saturday Night Live or Mad TV, but we're a lot raunchier and a lot less politically corrrect.

If you make it to the show, stick around afterwards and introduce yourself. Depending on how I am for cash, I'll buy you a drink.

Ardmore-Wed-Open Mic Night

Every Wednesday(as far as I know)....

Variety of Jam/Grunge/Rock/Pop/Blues Artists Jam on mostly accoustic guitars, base, congo drums. Great drink deal, free old school popcorn, friendly bartenders, nice cool people.

Come by 8 or 9 so you can marinate for a little while before the Musicians get started. Plan an easy Thursday morning because you're gonna end up closing the place. The music and people just draw you in.

Oh, and if you're a singer/musician, feel free to sign up for a set or jump in when it feels right.
